Site clearance

Site clearance is the process of clearing trees, plants, and any other natural or man-made obstructions from a piece of land. Not only for building projects etc, site clearance may also be necessary for environmental reasons. It allows for the proper removal and disposal of any vegetation, which can protect and preserve the surrounding ecosystem.

One of the essential tools used in site clearance is an excavator tree shear. This attachment is specifically designed to cut and clear trees, shrubs, and other vegetation quickly and efficiently. It is mounted on an excavator, allowing for precise and controlled cutting, minimizing damage to the surrounding area. This tool is perfect for large-scale projects as it can handle both small and large trees with ease. We also have the mini digger for smaller scale/tighter access jobs

In addition to the excavator tree shear a large chainsaws team which is another vital tool in site clearance. They are used for tree surgery aspects including felling. A team of skilled chainsaw operators can quickly and efficiently clear a site, ensuring a smooth and even terrain for future development.

Our Bobcat T770 with a mulching head is another valuable piece of equipment used in site clearance. Its compact size and manoeuvrability make it perfect for navigating through tight spaces and difficult terrains. With attachments such as grapple buckets and rakes, a bobcat can easily clear debris and level the ground.

Once all the trees, shrubs, and other vegetation have been removed, the final step in site clearance is biomass chipping. The chipping process involves feeding the cleared vegetation into a biomass chipper, which will turn it into wood chips or mulch. These wood chips can then be used for various purposes, such as landscaping or fuel for bioenergy.
